The Sri Lanka Navy will conduct a Sea Firing Exercise off the west coast of the country on Monday May 11, 2026.
The naval craft SLNS NANDIMITHRA will carry out the exercise in the VCD II area between 08:00 and 15:00 hours local time.
Surface clearance required (safety margin): 5 NM.
All merchant vessels, tender boats, tugs, fishing boats and other vessels anchored or operating in the above sea area should keep well clear until completion of the Naval Exercise.
