Beginning at 0400 hours on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, until 2359 hours on Friday, May 19, 2026 (12 days), the center wall culvert at Gatun Locks will be out of service for scheduled maintenance on cylindrical and rising stem valves.
Lockages will take additional time during the maintenance period.
No decrease in capacity is expected, therefore, the limitation on the number of restricted vessels and the number of slots per direction for Supers and Regulars in the Panamax Locks will remain unchanged.
