Based on the representation from the trade body to the Scale of Rates increase with effect from 1 July 2021, and help the trade survive the situation brought about by the COVID 19 second wave, it has been decided to defer the escalation of 0.55% for the year 2021-22 in the Scale of Rates up to 31 December 2021, instead of giving effect from 1 July 2021.
