Parapet wall rectification work is being conducted at the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club (RYSC) until 16 January 2026.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.96 of 2025, the work is being carried out 0700–1900 hours, Monday to Saturday (working hours may differ subject to site circumstances), at sea within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01° 17.661'N / 103° 45.532'E
2) 01° 17.675'N / 103° 45.540'E
3) 01° 17.659'N / 103° 45.568'E
4) 01° 17.645'N / 103° 45.560'E
The work involves the removal of damaged parapet walls at the breakwater, installation of new parapet walls at the breakwater, and removal of the affected slab followed by concreting of a new slab.
Craft involved in the works exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.
When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 18 (Pasir Panjang Control); and communicate with Pasir Panjang Control for assistance, if required.
