Roads leading to Aden’s oil ports of Al-Zeit, Al-Mualla and the Caltex containers have been blocked by retired military personnel demanding payment of their pensions which were stopped in January, according to local reports.
The action has sparked a fuel crisis in the city, with hundreds of cars queuing for petrol, and fears rising over escalating protests.
