Anchoring of vessels at Restricted Area adjacent to U.A.E. East Coast territorial waters is strictly prohibited. Please refer our Notice to Mariner No.148 Version 3 & Notice to Mariner 101/2012 issued by Khorfakkan Port.
If any vessel is found anchored in the restricted area will invite a permanent entry ban, or a fine of AED 10,000/- or both without further clarification.
Free passing of vessels through the aforementioned area is allowed as per International Maritime Law.
