From 15 October 2025 to 15 April 2026, rock revetment reinstatement works will be conducted at Mamam Beach.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.132 of 2025, the works will be carried out 24 hours daily - including Sundays & Public Holidays - within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01° 25.109’N / 103° 58.531'E
2) 01° 25.113'N / 103° 58.521'E
3) 01° 25.085'N / 103° 58.504'E
4) 01° 25.083’N / 103° 58.512'E
The work involves clearing loose rocks to prepare the seabed for geotextile installation, and laying of rocks manually and/or with the use of excavators.
When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 21 (Sembawang Control); and Communicate with Sembawang Control for assistance, if required.
