The Port of Fujairah has advised changes to the regulations covering Ship-to-Ship (STS) operations.
In its Notice to Mariners No.203 dated 21 April 2016, the port advises that the vessel’s Certificate of Origin & Bill of Lading of cargo need to be submitted in advance prior to any STS operation.
Documents issued by sellers or third parties cannot be considered as equivalent to Certificate of Origin. Certificate of Origin should be one issued from official loading terminal with stamping authority's name signature and stamp.
