Reduced oil production

07 Feb 2022 / Sidra, Libya

Libya’s National Oil Company has announced a reduction of oil production by 100,000 barrels due to a day’s stoppage of oil exports from the country’s largest oil port, Sidra.

Production for Es Sidra Terminal had been reduced due to closure of several days for bad weather and only eight tanks available for storage. All shipping operations stopped in most of the oil ports in the Gulf of Sirte due to bad weather, high waves and the suspension of maritime navigation.
