Rectification of floating sea barrier at Sentosa Cove

From 17 December 2025 to 17 April 2026, rectification works are being conducted at a floating sea barrier at Sentosa Cove.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.168 of 2025, the works are being carried out between 0800 and 1800 hours daily - including Sundays & public holidays - at sea, within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum).

The repair work will be carried out by crane barge assisted by tugboats.

A safety boat will attend all times to warn and re-direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of the working area.

Crafts involved in the works exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout; |
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 12 (East Control);
and
e) Communicate with East control for assistance, if required.
