Reconstruction works continue at Yung Shue Wan Public Pier

Reconstruction works at Yung Shue Wan Public Pier commenced on July 10, 2026 and are expected to continue for approximately six months within two designated work areas.

Work is carried out between 0700 and 1900 hrs, excluding Sundays and public holidays. Operations involve a dumb lighter supported by a tug, with safety zones and silt curtains established around the work areas.

Periodic diving operations are also being conducted during working hours. Vessels navigating near the pier should proceed at slow speed, keep clear of the work areas and remain alert for divers in the water.
