Quarantine Non-declared port (SSCC/SSCEC)

Under the revised Biosecurity Act 2016, the port of Eden is listed as not declared port for inspection, issuing or extending of the ship sanitation certificates and nor is the port resourced with quarantine staff.

Any vessels that are aware of their ship sanitation certificate about to expire require to renew the same at the previous overseas port as this function is no longer available at Eden.

The following links give information of the Act and list Australian ports where ship sanitation certificates can be issued.
