Members of the All Transport Association of Kandla, Mundra and Kutch will start a “No Road No Toll” protest from 09:00 hours local time on Friday (12 September).
The action has been called in view of unresolved issues concerning road infrastructure, highway maintenance and the challenges faced by transporters.
Until their demands that the National Highways Authority of India (NHIA) properly repair the roads are accepted, transport movement of import and export cargo through Kandla Port, Mundra Port, CFS facilities, empty parks and associated industrial units will be suspended.
