Proposed coastal development project at northern coast of Woodlands

From 1 October 2025 to 31 March 2026, work will be conducted related to the proposed coastal development on the northern coast of Woodlands.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.124 of 2025, the work will be carried out 24 hours daily - including Sundays & public holidays - at sea, within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum)
1) 01° 27·015'N / 103°46·407'E
2) 01° 27·003'N / 103°46·381'E
3) 01° 26·978'N / 103°46·338'E
4) 01° 26·938'N / 103°46·295'E
5) 01° 26·929'N / 103°46·270'E
6) 01° 26·918'N / 103°46·261'E
7) 01° 26·913'N / 103°46·257'E
8) 01° 27·156'N / 103°46·181'E
9) 01° 27·279'N / 103°46·369'E
10) 01° 27·100'N / 103°46·481'E
11) 01° 27·042'N / 103°46·390'E

Construction of vertical perimeter wall using concrete blocks and infilling of sand for reclamation works.

A safety boat will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 21 (Sembawang Control);
and
e) Communicate with Sembawang Control for assistance, if required.
