All off signers should wear mask & gloves upon leaving from vessel till they exit from Qatar.
The port clinic is working from 0630 to 1430 hours (Sunday to Thursday) for crew medical to attend chronic non-emergency cases in addition to Corona virus screening. After 1430 hours and during holidays, the duty nurse & ambulance service will be available to attend emergency cases.
A list of off-signers should be prepared for all those who hold a valid Qatar seaman visa, completed their stay inside country above 40 days, mentioning their sign-on date, and sent to [email protected] for submission to Port/Immigration authorities at the earliest. Port & Immigration are instructed to complete the sign-off of crew members staying above 40 days at a time from a vessel or cancel all sign-off till situation back to normal.
While booking exit flight ticket, make sure airline will accept the crew members to board the flight, otherwise crew will stuck inside the country and the Immigration department will take necessary action against crew/agents/vessel owners. Crew members are not permitted to stay in a hotel and wait for exit flight.
No more seaman or business visa application are being accepted by the Immigration Department till further notice.
