Postponement of reconstruction work

The start of reconstruction work on the oil jetty Dolphins 1 and 2 at Lomé, initially scheduled for 12 January, has been postponed to 25 February.

The total immobilization of the oil jetty will begin no later than 25 February, with the site expected to be vacated no later than the first half of April.

It is recommended that the following measures are taken to ensure the continuity of operations:

  • Priority be given to double banking at the mineral quay, which will continue to handle, within the limits of its capacity, the ships usually handled at the oil jetty.
  • Building up maximum stock before the start of the work to cover requirements throughout the period of unavailability.
