Effective immediately, the Brazos Pilots make the following draft recommendation for vessels transiting the Federal Channel at the Port of Freeport:
MAXIMUM RECOMMENDED DRAFT 42’ FRESH WATER at zero mean low water
This recommendation is applicable for underkeel clearance requirements and tide availability. We request timely notification of anticipated arrivals or departures of deep draft vessels with minimal underkeel clearance.
