The port of Aden resumed bunker supply operations on Friday (8 April). Supplies were halted since March 2015 when Houthi rebels invaded the city of Aden.
The Russian flag fishing vessel “OPTIMIST” was the first ship to inaugurate the resumption of bunker supply operations at the port. Aden Bunkering Department, an affiliate of the Aden Refinery Company, is the supplier of bunker products at the Port of Aden.
