Sea traffic, vessel movements and port operations in Hong Kong remain unaffected by the ongoing protests which have blocked major roads in Central, Admiralty, Wanchai, Causeway Bay and Mong Kok since yesterday (28 September). So far, there has been no disruption to the banking system and financial markets function except for the fact that some bank branches have remained closed in areas blocked by the protestors.
