Port operations in Sri Lanka are continuing unaffected by the multiple bomb attacks that claimed at least 290 lives and injured another 500 people.
However, special checkpoints and spot checks are being carried out to ensure safety and security. People flying out are advised to report to the airport 4 hours earlier, due to the tightening up of security checks.
