The Bangladesh Government has declared a general holiday to mark the country’s Independence & National Day from 0800 on 26 March.
Chittagong Port Authority advises that ships/lighters can be operated on the holiday under special arrangements and subject to payment of additional charges. The Director (Traffic) or their subordinate should be informed in advance.
Necessary measures will be taken including booking sufficient manpower for the purpose of conducting all operational activities under the traffic department (including Pangaon ICT and Dhaka ICD).
