Ports across the United Arab Emirates are working to adjusted schedules during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
DAS ISLAND
Port operations on 24-hour basis. HM office working 0900-1500 hours.
FUJAIRAH
Bulk and Service Harbour Operations
- Ship Loaders 1 & 3 operations will be suspended between 04:30-05:30 hours & 18:00-19:00 hours
- Service Harbour operations will be suspended between 03:30-05:30 hours & 18:00-20:00 hours
Office Hours
- Monday-Thursday 09:00-14:30 hours
- Friday: 09:00-12:00 hours
PABX (09-2228800) Fax (09-2228555 for Operations, 09-2228022 for Marine Services and 09-2228133 for Oil Tanker Terminals) will be manned on 24 hours basis.
Marine Services will be available on a 24-hour basis, except Pilotage as detailed below:
S.T.S. Services
- Suspension from Berthing at 15:00 hours to Unberthing at 16:00 hours
- Pilot onboard 20:30 hours
Vopak & Naval Base
- Suspension from Berthing at 15:30 hours to Unberthing at 16:00 hours
- Pilot onboard 20:30 hours
Al Kaser Bay
- Suspension from Berthing at 15:30 hours to Unberthing at 16:00 hours
- Pilot onboard 20:30 hours
Port (FT, SBB & FOTT)
- Suspension from Berthing at 16:00 hours to Unberthing 16:30 hours
- Pilot onboard 20:30 hours
Oil Tanker Terminals – Cargo operations will continue as usual. Vessel berthing/unberthing, vessel safety inspection, MLA connection/disconnection, line packing and pigging operations will be suspended 04:40-06:00 hours and 17:45-20:15 hours.
Gate Pass Office will be closed 03:00-05:00 hours and 17:45-20:15 hours.
JEBEL ALI
Berthing & un-berthing of vessels will continue 24 hours.
Normal Hours: 0800 - 1430hrs
Overtime Hours: 1430 - 0800hrs
JEBEL DHANNA
Port operations on 24-hour basis. HM office working 0900-1500 hours.
MINA SAQR
Routine Operations, expect delays during:
- Iftar Break: 1830 - 2000hrs
- Suhoor Break: 0430 - 0530hrs
- Friday Prayers: 1300 - 1400hrs
MUBARRAZ ISLAND
Port operations on 24-hour basis. ADOC onshore office working 0800-1400 hours.
PORT RASHID
Berthing & un-berthing of vessels will continue.
Normal Hours: 0800 - 1400hrs
Overtime Hours: 1400 - 0800hrs
RUWAIS
Port operations on 24-hour basis. HM office working 0900-1500 hours.
SHARJAH
Ship Operations & Stevedoring
- Car Ships (RO-RO): Will continue 24/7 from arrival of vessel to completion. Overtime applies after 14:00 hours and on weekends/holidays.
General Cargo, Reefer & Passenger Ships
- I Shift: 06:00-12:00 hours
- II Shift: 14:00-21:00 hours (includes 1-hour break for Iftar)
- III Shift: 21:00-03:00 hours
Cargo Delivery Shed & Yard Access
- Standard delivery: 06:00-12:00 hours
- Extended hours: If cargo needs to be collected up until 20:00, gang must be booked before 12:00 that day.
Office Hours
- Monday to Thursday 09:00-14:30 hours
Offices will be closed on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
ZIRKU ISLAND
Port operations on 24-hour basis. HM office working 0900-1500 hours.
