The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Port Limits - Suspension) Notification 2019 that came into operation on 8 April 2019 at 0001hours.
This circular suspends the effect of Port Marine Circular No. 09 of 2018 pending an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Singapore and the Government of Malaysia on the maritime boundary delimitation in the area surrounding the Johore Bahru port limits off Tanjung Piai and Singapore port limits off Tuas which is yet to be agreed upon by the Government of Malaysia and the Government of the Republic of Singapore under the Agreement between the Government of Malaysia and the Government of the Republic of Singapore to Delimit Precisely the Territorial Waters Boundary in Accordance with the Straits Settlements and Johore Territorial Waters Agreement 1927 done at Singapore on 7 August 1995.
