Port development to boost cruise service

Pelindo III is now developing Port of Benoa, in Bali, to give better service for cruise ship and its passengers.

The development includes:

  • Dredging: The depth of channel and the depth of water in front of East and South berth are increased into -12mlws. The width of Channel increased into 200m and the diameter of turning basin is increased into 420m.
  • Passenger Terminal: A new and larger cruise terminal is built to accommodate the new demand. The new passenger terminal capacity is increased from 800 passengers to 3,500 passengers. The terminal is equipped with standard facilities such as Custom, Immigration, Quarantine (CIQ) counter, x-ray, and check in counter. These facilities will improve turn around operation of cruise ship.
  • Marina Zone: Built to accommodate yacht and super yacht with a comfortable and safe facilities.
