The Port of Tampa was closed at 0800 hours local time today (27 September) in anticipation of Hurricane Ian, which is currently sitting over Cuba and looks likely to track more south and east than previously expected.
The effects of Ian should start to be felt on the west coast of Florida tomorrow evening (28 September).
