All harbour movements were halted at Port Kembla at 2015 hours local time today (14 October) due to extreme weather conditions. Winds are currently between 45-50 knots. Further assessment will be made at 0830 hours local time tomorrow morning (Wednesday 15 October). Port Kembla's anchorage was closed to shipping yesterday, and all vessel directed to sea.
