Planned port closures

The Port of Venice/Porto Marghera will be closed to enable the positioning of nine structures related to project M.O.S.E. on Malamocco entrance, as follows: - 19 June for 18 hours - 5 July for 48 hours - 21 July for 72 hours - 4 August for 72 hours - 17 August for 162 hours - 2 September for 72 hours - 16 September for 72 hours - 1 October for 48 hours - 15 October for 18 hours Lock chambers tested for following vessel dimensions (Length Over All): - Ro/Ro ships max 200 metres - Cargo ships max 150 metres - Tankers ships max 120 metres These limitations will be updated and probably increased prior to the 2nd port closure expected on 5 July (48 hours).
