Sabine Bank Pilots have announced an increase to their pilot transportation fee, as well as a fuel surcharge.
This comes after a five-year contract was secured with HeliServiceUSA, which will come into effect on 1 June. Under the agreement, two state-of-the-art Leonardo AW169 helicopters offering twice the capacity of the pilots’ current airframes will be deployed.
To support this, the Sabine Bank Pilot transportation fee will be adjusted from $3,225 to $3,495, effective from 1 June.
A $200 fuel surcharge will be applied per pilot transported. This surcharge will be reviewed bi-annually and adjusted as needed based on fuel price fluctuations.
