The works [are being] carried out by one flat top barge and one derrick lighter. One tugboat and one work boat provide assistance. The number of vessels engaged in the works [changes] from time to time to suit operational requirements.

A working area of approximately 50 metres around the flat top barge and the derrick lighter [is] established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights [are] laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the barge and the lighter.

Silt curtains, extending from the sea surface to the seabed, [are] established within the works area. The silt curtain is a large piece of netting used to contain mud and sediments. Yellow flashing lights [are] fitted to the silt curtains to mark their extents.

The hours of work [are] from 0800 hours to 1800 hours. No works [are] carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works stay in the works area outside the hours of work.

Vessels engaged in the operations display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.
