Requirement for laden tanker vessels entering or leaving harbour during night with maximum parameters for vessel more than 150m and up to 230m LOA with 33.0m beam and 12.0m draught at FOTCO Terminal will be allowed by taking benefit of tide under keel clearance of 2m tide. Additionally, night navigation during monsoon is not permitted.
The above draughts and dimensions are subject to availability of sufficient height of tide, favourable wind and weather conditions at the time of passage for berthing/sailing of vessels.
Above noted draughts and dimensions are subject to change in case of abnormal siltation, if any.
Berthing at risk and cost of ship owners/agent.
Ships are to commence discharging immediately after berthing.
Ships on arrival at outer anchorage are requested to intimate correct draughts and dimensions.
Vessels violating Notices To Mariners will not be accepted…
…Deeper draught vessels calling Port Qasim will be handled by taking benefit of the tide.
Any case of misdeclaration/concealment of draughts/dimensions by the Master, owner, agent, etc. will be construed as violation…
…Container vessel of LOA more than 280m should be with operational bow thruster or prior permission for berthing/unberthing from PQA will be required.
