At 1604 hours local time yesterday (25 July), the Vessel Traffic Service Houston/Galveston directed no vessel movements on the Houston Ship Channel from Kinder-Morgan Ship Dock 4 to the Magellan Turn Basin at Houston Ship Channel Light 160, due to a sulfer dioxide release at Pasadena Refining.
A shelter in place has been issued for the city of Galena Park.
