There will be a partial blockage of the Mobile River in vicinity of Pier 2 of the Alabama State Port Authority commencing at 0700 on Friday, 8 July.
The M/V STAR ISMENE (650 feet by 101 feet) will use a floating Barnhart crane to offload cargo. The combined width of the vessel and crane is 311 feet. Loading should be completed by 1100 on Friday, July 8, 2016.
Cooper Marine will be attending the Barnhart Heavy Lift Floating crane and will monitoring VHF channels 13 and 65 during the lift. Passing arrangements can be made with the Cooper Marine tugs.
