Operations halted due to typhoon

Vessel operations are suspended in southwestern Zambales, western Bataan and the Lubang Islands, due to Typhoon Henry.

At 05:00 hours local time today (July 1, 2026), Typhoon Henry was estimated to be 115km west southwest of Abucay, Bataan, with strong winds extending 150km out from the centre. The system was moving northwestward at 25km/h.

The southwestern portion of Zambales (San Antonio, Castillejos, Subic Port, Olongapo City), the western portion of Bataan (Morong, Bagac, Mariveles) and the Lubang Islands have been declared under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) 1 in the Sea Travel Advisory 07-01 issued by the Philippine Coast Guard.

The operation of all types of vessels is suspended at ports in the affected areas, except to take shelter.

Operations may resume once weather and sea conditions, as officially announced by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

GAC remains operational and committed to providing continued support at this time.
