The New South Wales Government will amalgamate Sydney Ports Corporation and Port Kembla Port Corporation to form the Newcastle Port Corporation, a single state-owned body with effect from 1 July. As part of this process � assets, rights, liabilities and obligations of the former Sydney and Pt Kembla Port Corporations will be transferred to Newcastle Port Corporation.
