Northern Tuas Basin reclamation work

From 1 April to 30 September, the work boundary for reclamation work at Northern Tuas Basin has been extended (Phase 2 extended area).

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.48 of 2026, the works are being conducted 24 hours daily – including Sundays and Public Holidays – at sea within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum):

2. 01°18.483'N / 103°38.261'E
3. 01°18.727'N / 103°38.076'E
4. 01°18.983'N / 103°38.255'E
5. 01°18.901'N / 103°38.347'E
6. 01°18.796'N / 103°38.249'E
7. 01°18.672'N / 103°38.380'E
8. 01°18.772'N / 103°38.474'E
9. 01°18.673'N / 103°38.614'E
10. 01°19.054'N / 103°38.977'E
11. 01°18.916'N / 103°39.124'E
12. 01°18.518'N / 103°38.780'E
13. 01°18.315'N / 103°38.976'E
14. 01°18.261'N / 103°39.018'E
15. 01°18.137'N / 103°38.904'E
16. 01°17.900'N / 103°38.870'E

The Northern Tuas Basin reclamation work will involve a series of marine construction activities, including pre-construction surveys, removal of anomalies and debris, soil investigation works, demolition works, jetty installation works, dredging works, reclamation works, soil improvement works, and stone revetment works.

Craft involved in the works exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control);
and
e) Communicate with Jurong Control on VHF Channel 22 for assistance, if required.
