Effective immediately, the Brazos Pilots recommend the following Draft Recommendations for vessels calling at Seaway:
DOCK #2: RETURN TO PROJECT DEPTH RECOMMENDED DRAFT 42’ FRESH WATER
DOCK #3: REMAINS AT MAXIMUM RECOMMENDED DRAFT 38’ FRESH WATER
* Vessels with a draft of 38’ Fresh Water will only be handled with a minimum positive tide of 0+ FT above MLW.
THIS MEANS VESSELS WITH MORE THAN 38 FT FRESH WATER DRAFT DOCKING AT #3 MAY EXPERIENCE DELAYS PENDING HIGH TIDE FOR TRANSIT.
This recommendation is applicable to Seaway terminals and does not indicate depths of the Federal channel.
