A new procedure is in place for any crew change or other personnel transfers (embarkation or disembarkation) offshore Lome. The new regulation requires the following: 1) A scanned copy of the passport of all crew or personnel embarking/disembarking from any vessel, to be provided 24 hours in advance by the company requesting such service to the Master of the vessel and the appointed agent. 2) Master must then forward official authorisation with the names and the copies of the passports of the crew or personnel embarking/disembarking from his vessel bearing his undersigned full style address (Name, Phone number(s), Fax number, Satellite number, e-mail, etc.) to the Agent. 3) This official authrisation from the Master will be used by the Agent to proceed for formalities with the port.
