Official institutions, banks and offices in Turkey will be closed on Monday 23 April due to National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.
Some ports may be closed on the public holiday and charges for official services (pilotage, towage, mooring, customs) increased by 50%, so you are encouraged to check with GAC Turkey prior to calling at any Turkish port.
Vessels at Turkish ports are urged to make all of their arrangements for crew, spare, provisions, soonest to allow time for them to be cleared and delivered in time.
GAC Turkey will be on duty during the holiday.
