Mooring System Replacement Works at SkyPier Terminal

With immediate effect and for a period of approximately six months, mooring system replacement works will be carried out at SkyPier Terminal within the area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent shoreline:

(A) 22° 19.105'N 113° 56.699'E
(B) 22° 19.103'N 113° 56.710'E
(C) 22° 19.019'N 113° 56.691'E
(D) 22° 19.030'N 113° 56.635'E

  1. The works will be carried out by one dumb lighter, assisted by two work boats and two tugboats. Vessels engaged in the works will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

  2. A working area of approximately 20 metres around the dumb lighter will be established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the working vessels.

  3. The hours of work will be from 2200 hours to 0700 hours daily. Vessels employed in the works will not remain in the works area outside the stated hours.

  4. Diving operations will be conducted from time to time during the hours of work.

  5. Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution and keep clear of the works area at slow speed, bearing in mind that divers may be in the water.
