The Panama Canal Authority is hereby announcing an updated maximum draft limitation for vessels transiting the Neopanamax locks, as follows:
Beginning June 27, 2016, the maximum allowable draft for vessels transiting the new locks will be 13.11 m (43.0 feet) Tropical Fresh Water (TFW).
This draft limitation is based on the current level of Gatun Lake and weather forecast for the upcoming weeks.
