Vessels operating near Hong Kong’s Central Piers No. 3 & 4 should proceed with caution as marine works for a seawater cooling plant are being carried out for approximately six months, from late May 2026.
The work is being conducted by one boat between 09:00 and 18:00 hours daily, except Sundays and public holidays. The boat displays signals as prescribed in international and local regulations, and does not stay in the works area outside the hours of work.
Diving operations are being carried out from time to time as part of the work.
