For approximately 12 months, marine works involving dredging operations and drilling of boreholes will be carried out within the area bounded by straight lines joining the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (P) and the adjacent shorelines:

The works will be carried out by two jack-up barges, two dumb lighters and one flat-top barge. Two tugboats, one hopper barge and one work boat will provide assistance. The number of vessels engaged in the works will change from time to time to suit operational requirements. Vessels engaged in the works will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.
A working area of approximately 30 metres will be established around each barge and lighter. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from each flat-top barge and lighter. Yellow flashing lights will be installed at the four corners of each jack-up barge to indicate its position.
Silt curtains which are large pieces of netting to contain mud and sediments extending from the sea surface to the seabed, will be established within the works area. Yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the extent of the silt curtains.
The hours of work will be from 0800 to 1900 hours. No works will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works will stay in the works area outside the hours of work.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.
