Marine soil investigation & survey works

From July 20 to September 30, 2026, marine soil investigation and survey works are being conducted in Temasek Fairway.

Soil investigation works are being carried out using jack-up barges with two tugs deployed to assist their positioning. The barges and attending tugboats require a safe working zone of 30 meters radius. A safety boat is deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area.

The work is being carried out 24 hours daily, including Sundays and public holidays. Craft involved in the works exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch oh VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control);
and
e) Communicate with Jurong Control on VHF Channel 22 for assistance, if required.
