Marine site investigation off pier at Leung Shuen Wan, Sai Kung

For approximately 1 month, marine site investigation works involving drilling of boreholes will be carried out in the following areas:

AREA 1
This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D):
(A) 22 deg. 21.019’N / 114 deg. 21.187’E
(B) 22 deg. 21.009’N / 114 deg. 21.189’E
(C) 22 deg. 21.007’N / 114 deg. 21.178’E
(D) 22 deg. 21.018’N / 114 deg. 21.176’E

AREA 2
This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (E) to (H):
(E) 22 deg. 21.010’N / 114 deg. 21.206’E
(F) 22 deg. 21.001’N / 114 deg. 21.211’E
(G) 22 deg. 20.996’N / 114 deg. 21.201’E
(H) 22 deg. 21.005’N / 114 deg. 21.195’E

The hours of work will be from 0700 to 1900 hours. No works will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works will stay in the works area outside the hours of work.

Vessels engaged in the operations will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.
