Marine site investigation at Kellett Anchorages

For approximately one month, marine site investigation works involving sampling of subsea soil are being carried out in the following locations (WGS 84 Datum):
(A) 22° 17.983’N 114° 07.130’E
(B) 22° 17.644’N 114° 07.130’E
(C) 22° 17.644’N 114° 06.548’E
(D) 22° 17.928’N 114° 06.548’E

The works are being carried out by one flat-top work barge. One tugboat will provide assistance.

A working area of approximately 50 metres around the barge is established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the barge.

The hours of work are from 0800 to 1800 hours. No works are being carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works stay in the works location outside the hours of work.

Vessels engaged in the operations display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.
