Marine construction work at Tanjong Kling

The working period for marine construction at Tanjong Kling has been extended. The work is now being carried out until 7 July.

According to The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.4 of 2026, the work is being conducted 24 hours daily - including Sundays & Public Holidays - within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01° 18.251'N / 103° 42.085'E
2) 01° 18.053'N / 103° 42.093'E
3) 01° 18.065'N / 103° 42.370'E
4) 01° 18.033'N / 103° 42.370'E
5) 01° 18.040'N / 103° 42.593'E
6) 01° 18.410'N / 103° 42.582'E
7) 01° 18.412'N / 103° 42.618'E
8) 01° 18.487'N / 103° 42.617'E

The reinstatement works on foreshore structures and the seabed involve dredging activities, the transport and discharge of dredged material using various types of marine vessels, removal of cofferdam and sand pumping.

A safety boat will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area.

Craft involved in the work exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control); and Communicate with Jurong Control for assistance, if required.
