Marine Aids to Navigation Dues

Marine Aids to Navigation Dues will replace Indian Light House dues (ILH), with effect from 27 August, as follows:

  • Foreign going ships as defined in the Merchant Shipping Act 1958 – ships other than container ships
    - Rate of Marine Aids to Navigation Dues: Rs. 7.50 per Net Registered Tonnage (NT)

  • Foreign going ships as defined in the Merchant Shipping Act 1958 – container ships
    - Rate of Marine Aids to Navigation Dues: Rs. 85.0 per Twenty feet Equivalent Unit (TEU)

  • Coasting ships/home-trade ships or ships granted license for coastal runs by Directorate General of Shipping under the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958
    - NIL

  • Sailing vessels as defined in the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958
    - NIL

  • Any ship belonging to the Central Government or any State Government, which is not carrying cargo or passengers for freight or fares
    - NIL
