Mandatory Garbage Landing at Adani Petronet Dahej Port

Adani Petronet Dahej Port Ltd. (APDPL) has announced that, effective 01 January 2026, all vessels calling at Adani Petronet Dahej Port will be required to mandatorily land their garbage. This decision follows a recent Port reception facility audit conducted by the Mercantile Marine Department (MMD) and aims to ensure compliance with pollution regulations and improve hygiene standards for both vessels and the port.

Key guidelines for garbage landing include:

  • Garbage must be disinfected, segregated and packed in leak-proof bags prior to landing.
  • All garbage must be declared, and the ANF form must be completed and submitted via the Swachh Sagar Portal.
  • A registered vendor must be engaged for garbage landing, with entries made in the portal before the vessel's arrival.
  • Garbage disposal must occur during the vessel's stay at the port.

APDPL has registered vendors and facilities in place to handle garbage efficiently. Garbage landing charges will be applied as per the port's BPTS (Berth Performance Tariff Schedule).

Shipping agents are urged to inform stakeholders and vessels in advance to ensure smooth compliance with the new regulations.
