The Kiel Canal Authority has advised that one big new lock chamber at Brunsbuettel will remain out of order due to ongoing maintenance works, which are expected to continue until about 1 June.
The current waiting times are:
- Kiel-Holtenau: up to 2 hours
- Brunsbüttel: up to 2 hours
