Last addition to new tugboat fleet delivered

The Panama Canal has received the last of 14 new tractor tugs. It completes the new fleet of tugboats with a Holland pull of 80 tons, strengthening the waterway's capacity for the operation of the third set of locks. The Panama Canal now has a fleet of 46 tugboats to handle the operational demands of the current and expanded Canal, and to assist Post-Panamax vessels when transiting through the new locks.
